Sunny Leone: It's not easy being an adult movie star

IBNS, Glamsham Editorial

If it was 'Baywatch' beauty Pamela Anderson who had grabbed eye-balls in 2010, then popular adult-film actor Sunny Leone raised the mercury higher in India as she joined reality game show Bigg Boss season 5 from this week.

Since Sunny arrived in India, media and even India audiences have started speculating what special moves she will make to add some extra spices to the Bigg Boss house and help the show gain more Television Rating Points (TRP) in this season.

The Indo-Canadian adult film star made an excellent debut in the house by sitting in a Palki and then dancing to the tunes of a B-town number.

Meanwhile, actor and ex Bigg Boss contestant Payal Rohtagi said she feels that both B-town beauties Katrina Kaif and Zarine Khan have a strong resemblance with Sunny Leone.

"Don't Zarine Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sunny Leone look alike? All British imports in our country," Payal tweeted.

Before entering the house, Leone told a daily newspaper that she has been following Bigg Boss 5 with earnest interest since Oct 2 and she feels that the reality show would give her a chance to connect with the Indian audience.

Leone said that she feels that Pooja Mishra is the 'bitchiest' among the contestants fighting in the house in this season.

"She seems to be the bitchiest," she was quoted as saying by a leading publication. "On the other hand I like Mahek and Juhi. Among guys, I think Amar is the most calm out of all the three," she said.

Asked about her expectations from the show, she said: "It's not because of the big bucks but because I'm addicted to Bigg Boss and really excited to be a part of it."

"I think I'd look great cooking aloo-gobi (potato and cauliflower curry) and daal-chawal (pulses and rice), doing the house chores in pencil heels and sexy clothes that I'm comfortable in."

"If people like me, I'll stay on till the end," she added.

Leone said she wants to work with Bigg Boss host and actor Salman Khan.

Reacting to the controversy on a porn star entering a TV reality show, she says, "It's not easy being an adult movie star! When you are in the limelight, you have to look your best. You do whatever you are asked to, whether it's approaching a reliable dermatologist or going in for surgery. What's the harm? There's a visible difference in the way I looked a decade ago and now. I've learnt how to dress and carry off clothes with ease as well."

Leone said her career has nothing to do with her personal life and that she will always remain faithful to her partner.

"We share a house, two lovely dogs and a production company in which I do everything from selecting actors and scripts to editing and writing. I may act in adult movies but actually I'm a one-man woman," she said.

Meanwhile, the porn star has bagged a role filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's upcoming project BLUE FILM.

The film would also feature Mahesh Bhatt's son Rahul Bhatt along with Leone, media reports said.

Big Boss, which is the Indian edition of the popular show 'Big Brother', has seen several global celebrities like Pamela Anderson and Jade Goody .

Earlier, there were reports that this season of the show might witness celebs like Shakira and Mike Tyson but all speculations have gone away after it is announced that Sunny Leone will enter the house this week
