Charlize Theron urges AIDS action from world leaders

Johannesburg, Jan 23 (ANI): Charlize Theron has said that the world's business and political leaders need to do more in the fight to wipe out Aids.

The 37-year-old actress, who recently accepted an award for her humanitarian work at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, emphasized the devastating effect that Aids has had on South Africa and the entire African continent and asserted that the fight was far from over, News 24 reported.

Theron, who's the UN Messenger of Peace and founder of an African outreach foundation, said that she's impressed by the brain trust at the forum, insisting that she feels like she's getting smarter by osmosis. (ANI)
